For the eighth time, H&M Group has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies.

“It’s a great honour for H&M Group to be named as one of the 2019 world’s most ethical companies. Deeply rooted values, our ambition to lead the change towards a sustainable fashion industry, as well as our Code of Ethic – one and the same for all markets – guides us in our everyday mission to conduct business in a fair and ethical way. That we are recognized for the eight time, makes it an extra strong acknowledgement”, says Anna Gedda, Head of Sustainability at H&M Group

The Ethisphere Institute is a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices that fuel corporate character, marketplace trust and business success. Each year they honour companies that recognize their critical role to influence and drive positive change in the business community and societies around the world.

“The combination of strong values and ongoing work to promote business ethics internally and externally has gained H&M Group this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations to everyone at H&M Group,” says Timothy Erblich, Chief Executive Officer-Ethisphere.

In 2019, 128 honourees were recognized spanning 21 countries and 50 industries. H&M Group is one of only two honourees within the apparel industry.
